  1. It is, I've never driven anything like it, feels like all hell breaks loose when you hit that second cam. Cheers
  2. Well after driving the 370 i soon took that off the list, yes its quick but not quite the drive i was looking for. The GT86 felt awesome to drive, and would make a great daily. But it's just a little too slow, and I thought i'd get bored fairly quickly. I did drive a supercharged one, with 230whp and to be honest, my 350 felt quicker. It was remapped and had launch control, full throttle shifting etc but it lacked any drama. Anyway, I've placed a deposit on an Elise. Now this thing really does shift, well it is quick but feels quicker than it actually is i think. Definitely gives a rush when it comes on cam and drives like a go kart. It will be time to let the zed go soon, which definitely be a sad moment. After driving a few elise's it really made me appreciate the zed for what it is, and it's an awesome car.......
  3. How long have you had it mate? Are you finding the power enough to keep you interested?
  4. Do you know many people that have one? I drove another today, fantastic little car but I think it feels quicker than it actually is. It's screaming for some boost. I need to drive another 370 I think.
  5. Yes i agree, forgetting about power for a moment i think the 86 is a nicer drive. The 370 is a clumsy beast in comparison, but theres no doubt that the zed is the better looking.
  6. Well I've now kind of decided it will be a 370 or a gt86. Drove both yesterday and can't quite make up my mind. The 370 felt a little sloppy to be honest (even compared to my lowered 350), has anyone else thought this? Almost like it's not quite connected to the road, however it did feel quite a bit quicker than my DE. I also loved the revmatch on the downshift. The gt86 felt great to drive but did feel slow, I just don't know if it's enough to keep me entertained. What has anyone here gone from a zed to an 86?
  7. Yeah i could have done with one of those, would have made the job much easier. On another note, i knew my original arms were knackered but the new ones have much such a difference. And no more rattling over bumps.
  8. They didn't, my local nissan dealer said 3-4 days. I got it sorted in the end, a bit of heat and the old ones came off. Thanks anyway
  9. Does anyone know where i can get one from local to Birmingham? Cheers
  10. Yes it does. On my 5 mile drive to work today, I spotted 5 m3's. The damn things are everywhere, I can see the appeal but I like to drive something different. I do miss having boost
  11. Well we all want more power 😆😆 I think I just fancy something new, and different. I think the most important thing for me is something that is fun to drive, and feels special not just straight line power. As much as I would love a HR, I don't know if spending an extra 5k over what I have now is worth it. I'd probably go for an e92 335i but I think I'd find it boring. An s4 v6 is maybe the next choice but now we're talking 370 money. I'll probably end up keeping my 350 at this rate.
  12. OK, so i'll forget the idea of selling my DE to replace with a HR, it doesn't really make sense come to think of it, not for 4-5k. So i guess its the 335 or save a little for a 370. For you guys that have or own a 335i coupe, what are they like? I have sat in a few in the showroom but I find them a little bland. How do they drive compared to a Zed? I guess the good thing is that it has twin turbos so getting more power is easy, the open diff is a bit of a let down though.
  13. Would i be better off going with a high milage 370? I've seen the odd one or two for £12-13k
  14. Has anyone owned an early 350 and upgraded to a later model? I have a 2004 but I'm getting an itch for something newer. I'd love a 370 but the price is a little out of my reach at the moment. I've looked at tons of cars and other than an e92 335i, the only thing i fancy is trading in mine for a zed with a HR. Would if be worth the hassle, with the HR only being 3 years younger? Are the engines that much better? Cheers
  15. Sorry, yes its the valet key. So the 350 can only have 2 keys coded to them? Will this stop the old keys from starting the car if they manage to get into it? Thanks
