As I said it will remove the cat n status. Yes it'll add the condition inspected but you would also get the satisfaction of knowing that it was repaired to a high standard, unlike alot of cat c + cars out there. You should theoretically be able to get more money for your car as it's not a cat c, d, n or s car

I remember looking into it back in the mid 2000s. There were only 2 places in the UK that could do such a test. One happened to be near me. Although it could only be a cat c or d.

Personally, I'd get bonnet struts.

If you get it repaired well, you can have it inspected and apply for the Cat N to be removed.
