Jay M1988
Hey all Need some help and advice on finding the right purple for my alloys. Ill be refurbing them myself so i must be able to get it in a can. I read through the gunmetal specific 350z thread and saw smudgeons colour purple which would be ideal as its slightly dark. If not im looking at cadbury purple. Much appreciated
Jetpilot
Your going to be pretty ltd if your expecting to pick something up off the shelf in a rattle can imho (that will look good) Your probably best going to a proper paint supplier and they can mix up any colour you like. ZEUS
As jetpilot said choose your colour and then get it put in a rattle can at a paint supplier.

Jetpilot
House of kolor kandy purple is awesome, had it on my Volks! but you waont get that mixed in a rattle can. How about midnight purple, they do 3 different versions.
Jay M1988
Again mate spoke to the bodyshop nd wont get it in a can
TT350
For the pure sake of hassle and finish I really think a professional is the way forward. Browse house of kolors catalogue then order a tin. Labour wouldn't be that much if you prep them first.
Jetpilot
But house of kolor is expensive
Jay M1988
Thanks mate i honestly think ill end up going through the bodyshop. The bodyshop did a r33 skyline in house of kolor paints and he warned me how god damn expensive it is.
jimmy.farrow7
Halfords can mix most paints if you can get hold of the paint code, might be worth a try.
The Bounty Bar Kid
Smudgeon had his purple colour custom made. Took a few attempts for his body shop to get it spot on to his liking.

The Bounty Bar Kid
I know he styled it on Cadburys purple so I'd suggest starting there.
