chrislich
Was attempting to remove my back box today to fit my single silencers, what a pain in the butt that was. Took me all day to end up with no back box on the car, 2 broken studs and 2 nuts I had to cut off. Tomorrow's job is to get a g clamp to push the studs out of the mid section then I'm good to go! Neilp
I'm sure the studs are welded in so a G-clamp will be a waste of time, you will need to cut/grind them out.
chrislich
Well I ended up drilling holes through them. Fitted back boxes drove out, was too loud all the time so took back off and refitted standard. I thought at certain bits had nice deep tone but it gad noise all low down. Even driving carefully had quite a boom. Oh well back on the hunt
