Rook
Evening all. Someone at an indie service centre I won't name told me my Z probably needs new spark plugs if it hasn't had already. It's an 07 DE with 92k on the clock. Do they need new plugs as a matter of course? I haven't pulled one out yet, but my service history doesn't include a receipt for them, I assume they've not been done - should I just do it anyway? What, if any, plugs do people use? Any benefit to HKS/Denso etc? Thanks all.
SHEZZA
If you have no record of them being changed id get them done. As should be done every 5 years or 54k. I did mine my self last year and used the OEM spec NGK Platinum in my DE. Edited July 3, 2015 by SHEZZA
GMballistic
^^ What SHEZZA said. I wouldn't bother wasting money on over the top spark plugs if it is a DE though, ...a decent brand like NGK will do the job imo. If yours is a DE: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_1418&products_id=25418 If it is a 2007 HR though then I believe Denso are the recommended brand by Nissan. coldel
Do note that you can get copper core plugs for a fraction of the price which perform exactly the same as iridium - iridiums last longer but that's all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rook
Thanks, and it's a RevUp. Might as well change them then! NGK it is, they seem pretty reasonably priced. That was easy!
