J18MNN
Hi There, I've had my 350z in the garage as the clutch was on its last thread and I've just had a call from the garage saying the works all done but they can't start it up. He says it seems like there is an aftermarket alarm system in the car so the fuel pump won't engage. I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this and knew a quick way around it, cause obviously I can't wait to get her back on the road. I have already tried the dealer (absolutely useless bunch of....) and I can't get in touch with the previous owner on the V5c. Any help would be greatly appreciated. J18MNN
That was my very first condescending response, but unfortunately that's not the issue here
-Bradders-
Have they somehow killed the battery? they tried jumping it?
ilogikal1
He says it seems like there is an aftermarket alarm system in the car First things first, does it actually have an aftermarket immobaliser on it, or just the standard NATS?
J18MNN
All the electronics work on the car, it simply the fuel pump that won't engage. I will be going up to look at the car tomorrow morning myself. If it is an immobiliser, where should I most likely be looking?
JoKeR
Sounds silly but is it not just the fuel pump fuse blown mate? That's what she 'Zed' :-/
ZMANALEX
Possibly CPS issue or flywheel fitted in wrong position. Alex.
