smickster
Viewed a roadster today and was surprised the roof would not operate unless handbrake was not activated and foot brake was. Is this normal? Surely handbrake should be on? Any roadster owners care to enlighten me?
martinmac
Yes the roof wont operate unless you have your foot on the brake pedal. Handbrake doesnt matter.

The Big Miester
Get one bought you will love it especially with this weather we are having..! , yes the roof only operates when vehicle is stationary unfortunately you can do it on the move unlike later Roadsters /convertibles that operate on the move up to a certain speed
Davectr
Get a 'mods4cars' module for it then you can operate the roof via remote control, or one touch operation from the switch without touching the brake. Can also be done whilst moving, although I wouldn't advise doing this other than at really slow speeds
