kingston Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Been the owner of a gunmetal 350z 2004 for just over a year now so thought it's about time to say hi!! Got to say I am a massive fan of the zed, it's the perfect fusion of power, handling and looks. This brings me onto my next point, the exhaust!! I have previously worked in the Motorsport exhaust industry, mainly fabricating and welding the exhsust system for Red bull F1 team, so you could say I know my way around a exhaust... I am currently starting to work on a stainless Y-pipe for mine and will eventually move onto the mid pipe, maybe some high-flow cats etc. I have looked at the systems available and believe I can make one better than anything else I've seen. Proper back purged welds, proper merge collectors, double welded and ported flanges etc. If you guys are interested I can post some pics up of the build as I go along (will be a few weeks due to work commitments)...then I will be joining forces with another exhaust fabricator to make some for the market!
