JurassicZ
Doesn't it just feel so great when she sails through with no advisories
Mudman
yep mine was tested last Friday - not bad for a 2003 no advisories. I was a bit worried with the HFC's but sailed through
hawker1986
Ive never had MOT anxiety, only thing that ever comes up is consumables. If you look after the car appropriately service/get it serviced as it should be then very unlikely anything is going to come up at the MOT. DonCool
I've got MOT anxiety as well. The test is due in 3 weeks. Don't know why as I have spent £2.5k this year fixing absolutely everything on my 03 (72k miles). Just want it over and done with!

gsexr
I used to be in the trade and have always had mot anxiety mainly caused by the fact that one mans pass is another mans failure depending on how nice the misses was to him last night..... SithOllie
My 350 had it's first ever MOT this week, wandered down "how bad is it?" expecting some advisories. my Mechanic is 'do you really want to know?' cue thoughts of "oh god i've bought a lemon" Hands me a completely clean bill of health

coldel
Its almost as bad a feeling as waiting for your exam results or something - bizarre isn't it, just waiting to be handed a potentially huge bill! Try owning a 20 year old car and waiting for MoT time...
rabbitstew
I have always hated MOT`s. For me its just like going to the dentist. Firstly you are letting someone else loose in your pride & joy (besides me, the MOT man is the only other person whoever drives my car) and secondly you never know what they might flag up. Sure, if the cars newish and in good nick like my 123d, its unlikely to fail on anything, but I still get that nervous sick feeling whenever its an MOT day.
