Chris Wiltshire
Hello, Have had the brake fluid changed and afterwards noticed that the pedal feels a bit spongy compare to before. The calibres were bled twice with no air coming out yet they still feel different. Before the pedal was firm and the brakes gripped straight away with stronger braking as you push the peddle down more. Now the pedal brakes for the first 10% and then goes through a middle phase of soft feeling and then gripping hard when pushed to the floor. Is there still air stuck somewhere? Any suggestions? Cheers, Chris
Bodyboarder81
Did they bleed both nipples on the calipers?( inner and outer ) Sounds to me like air in the system still .
Chris Wiltshire
Yeah both nipples on the calibres were bled, If I double tap the brake then there bloody sharp, almost throwing the passenger out the window but when first braking they do feel soft, a bit in unpredictable. ZEUS
Sounds like maybe a little air in them still but my brakes have always been the same as yours doing the double tap.
ZMANALEX
Air in system. A proper bleed will fix your issue.
