350z Wanted - Black, Blue or Orange only please :)

Hi guys, I'm going to be cheeky and post out some feelers to see whats out there :)

I'm looking for a facelift 350z, so 06 onwards, but I am very fussy, and perhaps unrealistic haha

Hoping for anything less than 70k miles, with full history from Nissan or a trusted specialist and LOTS of paperwork.

I don't mind mods, if they aren't going to need to be declared to insurance, such as different radio or wheels. Body kits are unfortunately a NO in my book, but a small spoiler might be okay.

I NEED the following features ( cause I'm fussy )

Cruise control

BLACK ONLY leather

Non budget tyres, but I am flexible on that ;)

Hoping for Rays if I'm honest.

My top end budget would be about £8500 but again , if the car is right, I might be flexible.

I currently drive an BMW E46 318i as a daily, with 70,000 on the clock, rising slowly by about 50 a week which I would need to sell or swap with cash your way if that's your thing. Feel free to ask me any questions about the car, I can get pics and any details you need sent over or posted up here

I realise it's a very tall order, but I figured I'd wait and get the perfect car and only buy once before keeping it a couple of years.

I hope this thread is okay, Mods/Admins please feel free to tell me if anything needs changing.

Thanks for any help guys

Oh and before I forget, I'm based in Ringwood, so Bournemouth/Southampton area for those unfamiliar

ask for Sam

I was looking at this one funnily enough :) Wasn't sure it was a good one, and then various forum cars popped up n caught my eye. Does anyone know the previous owners? Thought they might have been a forum user perhaps? Ideally I'd need one of you forum wizards to check it over for me, or with me, or whatever, cause I'm clueless :)

Also, both of those mods you mention would need to, and therefore should, be declared to your insurance...

Holy crap really?

I figured it was only major mods, like forced induction or exhaust etc.

Does this go for OEM spec stuff too? So like in my pictures I have 2 sets of wheels, do I need to declare it every time I swap them for winter etc?

In theory, yes. Anything that isn't fitted by the manufacturer when the car leaves the factory should be declared.

With winter wheels, if you explain when taking out the policy you should be okay but they ask you to let them know when you swap them over anyway.

I went to go and see a facelift 350z GT spec with sat nav today ( will post the link below )

The dealer said it has been sent away for a new Exedy clutch and flywheel from Europarts just up the road from them. I believe this and checked prices and it was fairly accurate after he said he got discount. My issue is that I checked the road tax and MOT online, he had the MOT done a week ago and the tax ran out on the 5th. From what I gathered the tax runs out at the moment the ownership changes hands, so IN THEORY he has had it for near 3 weeks now and done nothing to it, or he's been fixing little things to make it more appealing. I noticed his little young lad polishing scratches out of cars on the forecourt as I was leaving and had a look around his other cars, seemed to have all had a similar treatment. This is normal in my eyes, try and make it as appealing as he can to us, but now I'm definitely on guard for scratches.

If anyone is local to the Poole area, would you please give me a huge hand and check the car out for me? He said it is coming back at the end of the week, so my guess is Friday, but he will call me when its back and I'll post it up here as soon as I found out.

I'd really appreciate any and all help

Thank you very much

Over priced by about a grand.

You'd be much better off with this bargain!

A well looked after and maintained Zed, and is also local to you.

While I agree price is high, I spoke to him and he seemed fairly honest ( for a car dealer )

This car is a facelift, 296 version and has a lot of extras. The cruise control and leather are vital to me, the fact it has satnav and reversing sensors is great too. I'm sorry but that JDM car doesn't hold a candle to this, the JDM is old, imported and lower spec.

For the money, sure it's great, but I'm very fussy as you guys probably can tell ( and are getting annoyed with )

I might be able to crack him down to 8000 or 8250 at most. Just waiting for it to come back from the clutch job n service before I can test drive it. Hopefully I won't miss out!!
