ziglo
Another question for someone under the bonnet of the Nissan there is no insulation or soundproofing, is this normal? I noticed when it was raining and I pulled up a little bit of steam coming of the bonnet, I know realise this is because of the heat transfer from the engine directly onto the bonnet always noticed my other cars had insulation although is this normal for the 370z to have none ? thanks again Jamie
Renegade
Mine does not have any and neither did my 350. Most likely to let the heat out.
ziglo
Cheers Renegade, Yea I guess it would help disperse the heat from the engine bay, hopefully not at the expense of the paintwork on the bonnet

The lack of which appears to be "standard equipment"
veilside z
A lot of cars run them for soundproofing. But hey the Z has not got one, however the engine is silent in the cockpit. Yet another demonstration of what a superior build quality the car is.
