ZeppoJeff
So the time has come start my build project. So a couple years ago I got my first zed which I absolutely loved but due to it being a joint car the modifications were nil After a break up she got the car which meant I got to get my own one and to do what I wanted with So spending sometime looking I found one that wanted with low enough mileage and clean enough. So after picking her up I got the call that I was away offshore so tucked up for until I returned. Not before I got to put the first mod on her though...stubby While I was away the zeditus started and it was worse than ever. For a start it was just new head unit wiring harnesses, bulbs, cleaning products but then I started speak to Adrian and it got bad. Before I knew it I had ordered a motordyne plenum spacer, invidia titanium Gemini true dual exhaust and 60mm decats. Then got in touch with flyboy and ordered my airbox mod. Once home from my trip I got I touch with Clark Motorsport and bought everything I needed for my p3 service due to a poor service history. With having some friends that work in halfrauds also I picked up a new dvd head unit, dab aerial and grommets for the rear wiper delete So the day came that I had nothing planned and the whole day to myself and decided to start install the parts. First was the 6k bulbs, silvatec indicators and Cree Led sidelights...they are pretty big but bright Next was to make a start on the head unit Need somewhere else to put the aerial though as it looks awful here Also got the paperwork for my plate change so they got swapped to stubbys Wiper delete Time went by and I got the call from Adrian to say my exhaust was in the country and in no I had it at the door. I did intend to fit it myself but after some ppl say the cats can be nasty I thought I'd take it to a garage and good job they did. During servicing the car I added my flyboy airbox mod, cosworth filter and motordyne plenum Seeing that Chris@dynatune was doing an introduction offer on uprev I decided to go for it and pretty pleased with the results https://vimeo.com/130217915 It was after trip to Clark Motorsport again and got some led rears seeing as it was my birthday and the gf treated me So got them installed after a quick clean Had a wee accident on the way to Alton towers though and fell out with a parking barrier. So good excuse for a full respray and new bumpers and skirts I suppose...haha Edited March 25, 2019 by ZeppoJeff

Wasso
I hope you didn't bake the light in your kitchen oven....... the fumes reside in the oven and stick to the oven walls. So your Shepherds Pie that will be coming out for dinner this evening is going to taste reaaaaaaaaal good!!

When I say led rear lights I mean changing the whole housing with the hr upgraded led ones.
dann2010
Ah okay how much did that cost ya? So whats the purpose of baking the lights? And i suppose u had to get a red bulb to replace where the surround was Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
veilside z
Nice side steps. I just sold a set to GT4 zed. They look great fitted and really liven up the stock skirts.

And i suppose u had to get a red bulb to replace where the surround was Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk Lights got baked just so the glue on the housing softened and it easily came apart. Once apart the red surround and reflector got removed and replaced build with a bright led bulb instead. It's just tidies up the back end and makes it a lot more symmetrical. As for the rear lights I got them from Clarke Motorsport for £280 I think they were
ZeppoJeff
So just a little update to what's been happening. Well the update is nothing really...haha. Actually tell a lie I have just been gathering some parts for big change later on this month and here's some of those parts. Some nice new 370z repeaters thanks to Clarke Motorsport Some new bumpers thanks to rt performance So now really I'm just faced with the task of deciding on new wheels for the car which is never easy...oh and finalisation on the new colour for the car. Cars going in to get all work done next week and excited is an understatement

I was lucky and got to see the workmanship of the scobies zed when I was past and it was fantastic. The subtle flake throughout it just popped in the sunlight. Hope mine turns out just as good if not better. Edited July 4, 2015 by ZeppoJeff
