what do you do when you're not playing with your Z's

I'm either working or doing family oriented stuff. My son is 18 this year but my youngest is only 9 so years to go yet.My Z time is sacred and pottering in the garage is akin to a train set in the loft for others.

Brother from another mother.

 

Apart from the car stuff....

  • PS3 gaming. XBOX One.
  • Model making ~ all types: cars, engines, rockets, r/c etc. Same
  • Exercising ~ weight lifting mainly (nothing like your set up though Andy ~ just an exercise bike for warming up/cardio & dumb bells/barbell). Used to, not so much now.
  • DIY. Same
  • Knife collecting/making ~ not so much nowadays. Collect Knives, havent made my own.
  • Shooting ~ airguns/airsoft but again not so much nowadays. Same. Collect C02 Air Guns.
  • Archery ~ compound bow shooting. I dont do this!
  • Walking (if you can call that a hobby :dry: ). Same

Pity we live so far apart as I'm sure we'd have a good laugh together with so much in common. :D;)

Uni is taking up a lot of my time at the moment but outside of that:

 

Motorbikes (I only ride pillion, but I'm still out on the bike every time the OH goes out)

Travel

Charity work

 

Keeps me out of trouble, most of the time ;)

Nothing. I get moaned at enough for spending 20 seconds doing something that I want to do.

 

if this isnt a joke, maybe something you should do is get that changed!

 

It's no joke! Wears me down.

Not that I get much spare time but...

 

-playing rugby (glad it's the end of the season now though!)

- sometimes visit the gym (weights only!)

- playing the ps4

- some DIY, mostly thing like fences, planters etc

-swigging w few too many beers!

-BBQ's (when we actually get the summer!)

- don't mind a bit of football and tennis

- watching all sorts of Motorsport on tv

I did,

 

Long distance running, I ran almost 100 half marathons and 4 marathons.

Played loads of other sports, football, cricket, table tennis, golf, etc

Caravaning. when I had my Capri 2.8i

Computers

 

These days,

 

Reading, mainly Sci-fi on my kindle

Walking

Looking after my cats

Astronomy and science in general

Watching sport on TV.

I've been working out now 3 times a week since around January. Definitely seen improvements but obviously these things take time.

Hardest part is staying motivated but I'm sticking at it so far. ;)

 

WAS looking good. Lol. Thanks.

 

Diet is the hardest part for me. My default mode is fat bstard.

 

Stick at it! Its great when you get the bug and results start coming in.

Never had to diet in my life luckily but in a way that makes it harder as I have to bulk up & increase my food intake. Not easy for a picky eater. :dry::lol:

 

Done my bulking up phase now though so I'm just weight training at the mo ~ increasing my weight load every two weeks. Never really going to get to your size as I'm not built that way but just getting a bit more ripped is the goal. :teeth:

Krispy Kreme is LETHAL. Damn. I can eat 12 no problem. Especially the custard ones!

I'd love to be ripped. Almost got there once when I was well and truly into it but I just love food too much.
