redzed8
Yesterday while driving the 350z i had the eml come on the esp and the skid/slip light. Had the codes read today and here's what come up. P0011 bank cam position timing P0022 bank 2 cam position timing C1130 fuel cut Can anyone help with what these issues can be and what i need to fix/replace The car still runs and drives great and ive reset the lights and they haven't come back yet but if there is a problem id like to fix it sooner rather then later. Any help will be appreciated . Thanks .
Dicky
Can't help to much with the technical stuff other than if the cam positions are out this could be bad news. Seems strange though that the cars still driving well as I'd expect performance to drop off if the inlet and exhaust valves were mis timed. If it were my car I certainly wouldn't run it until I got that checked out. I usually call the RAC guy if I get a fault light and he usually explains what any code means as well as turning the lights off. He might give you a good insight into what to do next. Good luck
redzed8
Thanks for ur reply. Yeah its strange how its still starts and drives perfectly. Everyone ive seen online with the same fault codes have problems starting and idle and i don't. Il wait to see if the codes pop up again then take it to be looked at properly. Im hoping its just sensors at fault .
Ebized
As soon as I read your first line - brake fluid level came to mind...... http://www.350z-uk.c...el#entry1343759 But the codes you have make that doubtful, although you say the car is running fine, so as it costs nothing to check the brake master cylinder is topped up to the max. Hope it is nothng more serious.
