eddymon42
Guys, I'm thinking this is a falsely advertised Nismo: https://www.vcars.co.uk/used-cars/cardetails.php?t=autotrader&u=864681 What do you think? Doe 350Z Nismos come up on the V5/Reg search as a Nismo? Thanks!
ChrisS
Well I'd say it didn't come out the factory like that.
HassanZ
It won't show up as a NISMO on the V5. Itll show as a 350z as usual. That looks aftermarket to me
veilside z
Nice car, somebody needs to ask the dealer what's written on the V5
Mudman
Description reads as upgraded so aftermarket ? Probably needs to drop the Nismo from the ad header
eddymon42
Yeah I'd say falsely advertised. In other news, seen a 2008 HR GT with 35k for 11000. If its in good condition - thats a great deal right? 3 month warranty and first 4 scheduled services done as well. Any advice? I'm going to buy it tomorrow I think.

Will370z
Definitely not a nismo, not even close
WINKJ
Definitely not a nismo, not even close but Will, it does have the "badge" above the centre console to prove it
SHEZZA
Nope that ain't no nismo. I believe there's only one nismo in the UK which was imported as the nismo wasn't an option in the UK. The only nismo options for the 350z were factory fitted body kit and the 19"LMGT4 wheels I think. It's got a nismo V2 front bumper, but I'd say that's after market. Pete ( Jetset ) will confirm. coldel
Seems to be missing its Nismo rear spoiler... Aftermarket all day - its got a mix of stuff all over it and you got a dealer that is taking a bit of a punt.
eddymon42
Apparently it has sold for asking price - to an idiot. I'm getting a friend to look at the HR tomorrow. If its good They will take a 5k deposit to secure it for 3 months til I get back and keep it in the showroom. Its a beaut!

Usual depreciation, cars will likely be cheaper the other side of summer, the seller probably won't look after it after it's technically sold and they have a whopping £5k deposit. Do you mean it's only had 4 services? Should have had 7 by the end of the year.
veilside z
Will drop a little I feel within the three month period, however no saying it will still be around.

I hope he means they're offering to do the next 4 services, rather than it's had 4, but that would be a pretty service package if so. If it's had 4 then the previous owner probably took the "every 12 months or X miles" as the longer of the two rather than the shorter, would put me off to be honest. Then again, my car has no service book at present so only the receipts I can find... at least I know it's been serviced.

It'd include all fluids at least once and spark plugs.

Blimsa
The UK never had a Nismo version, it was a Nismo option pack. Was the bodykit, CAI and a sticker. The exhaust and wheels were extra again. This is my UK Nismo with all apart from exhaust:
Sarnie
CAI and Exhaust were never UK options................
ilogikal1
The exhaust most certainly was.
Blimsa
Indeed, I have receipts from nissan proving so.
Sarnie
The exhaust most certainly was. No it wasn't A dealer may have sold you one, but it was never on the UK options list. Nismo Wheels and Aerokit was all you could choose..........
