saint
I just turned an easy job into a hard one, I changed the front badge on my 350 and in doing so scuffed all the way around where the bumper is indented. All I had to do was sand off a tiny bit of plastic that was sticking out of the recess and when I stood back I saw I'd scraped the edges of the recess which can be seen around the badge! DOH! Is there a good way to hide it without getting paint involved?
ilogikal1
Stick some pictures up of the damage otherwise it's going to be difficult to advise.
MIGWEL
Could you gently use some tcut on it. The metallic tcut is finer than the normal so would use that. Not too hard and once the scuffs and scratches are smooth give it a polish with the type of polish that has a colour to it. My car is black and the black polish i use is great

veilside z
As long as you haven't gone through the lacquer, you can wet flat it with 1500/2000 wet or dry paper. Then use G3 or another cutting paste to remove the flatting down marks, finally polish and buff up the area.
