The Bounty Bar Kid
And just rewatched it realising that two people got out the car. Passenger first then driver. I should learn to keep my mouth shut more often.
GT4 Zed
Looks like they are unharmedðŸ‘. Minimal track damage and will have only cost euro 180 ADAC recovery. The car would likely have minimal damage as the crash bar too the brunt squarely. This a typical noob crash at Brunchen II due to lift off oversteer. He was not very fast but was too early and tight into the apex and as the corner opens at the top but still looks to tighten as you can't see over the crest the tendency is people panic and lift off or brake which unloads the finely balanced loaded rear tyres with resultant loss of traction and oversteer. Rather he should have let the car run wide to towards the kerbs and use it if necessary to keep traction and make the corner. There's more room than is apparent but seeing Esbach corner at the top confuses. Most Ring corners have typical apices like this and require late braking and turn in. There's loads of useful corner by corner online guides that any noob should invest time into or just drive to your limits and what you can see.

Looks like it might have fired the pedestrian protection pop up bonnet system though, that won't be cheap.
Jonnymonno
Wasn't my mate Dave he came back unscathed, made me look twice though!! Coming down into Brunchen it's an awkward one Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Dynamic Turtle
I'm amazed novice drivers still take brunchen like that, as it's such a notoriously slippy part of the track. I was super ginger in the Nismo around there on Saturday - seen too many crashes in all types of vehicle to ever gun it through there. Hope the guys were OK though, potentially expensive bill if they weren't insured...
