MarkW Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 I think a lot of it is just down to the builder and the contractors they use, and not particularly relevant to the cost of the house. Bought a new build in 2004 with my ex - a luxury 4 bed detached build by Charles Church (now owned by someone else I think). Had lots of snagging problems, and the neighbours all had loads of problems too We split up last year and I bought a much cheaper 3 storey townhouse built by miller homes which has had vertually nothing wrong with it in 18 months apart from a couple of really minor issues which they have sorted straight away.
