For now i've just got my single garage, which has never had a car in it but i spend a lot of time there...

AliveBoy
Maybe a silly question, but have you ever kept your spanners in a tool chest? Currently I have a draw of spanners which move around a lot, so racking them like this seems like a good idea
Keyser
^^^^ That was half way through mate that whole board is full - Yes used drawers still have at least 3 draws full of spanners as well Like that they are easy to find and when you finish a job you can see at a glance if any tools are missing. Each to their own though whatever works for you
AliveBoy
Yeah, it looks smart and practical. I also need to move my tool chest as it's right at the back and as I can't get the car in it's a right pain to walk in and out the whole time. I do have one thing you don't though Keyser, I have an armchair to sit in when something goes wrong. It's my "I buggered something up and need to calm down" chair I stayed at the inlaws house last night so couldn't take any pics of my garage

Ekona
I suspect that's far from what people expect The back half is still storage from the house move, and I've a pile of carpet tiles I need to put down under the MR2 as well. It'll be ace when I'm done though, it's a good length too with power, water and Ethernet throughout.
AliveBoy
Ethernet is a huge plus! I get 4g in mine so Google help is available haha. Plenty of space outside. Glass table until I get a workbench built at the back Tools Storage space and the Oh no chair

Ekona
It's actually pretty light inside, the photo doesn't do it justice. But you're right, there's masses of work to be done on it. Subject to planning, I want to extend it to the left to double it, then install a pit.
