ZeppoJeff
So for the past few day I've been getting a knocking from my drivers front arch. It started of quiet and now seems to be getting worse. Seems that it's only worse when the cars gets started up from cold and only happens when going over some speed bumps and the odd dip in the road. Seems when I've been out a while though it disappears. Anyone's got any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ekona
Have you had a look under there to see if anything is broken, i.e. drop link or spring?
ZeppoJeff
I've been underneath it heaps the past week doing service and what not and ain't seen anything. I'll go give her a wee jack up and look again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
veef13
As Ekona says, worn/bust drop link is a good possibility, or a bush that is worn and expanding slightly when warm so no longer making odd noises.
ZeppoJeff
Yeah maybe. Just jack her up and had a look and nothing is budging. I'll have a look again tomorrow when it's cold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ZeppoJeff
Seems it not knocking I don't think it's just really rubbish aftermarket shocks someone put on. Ugh guess it's a good excuse to swap them out for some coilovers in the near future...ADRIAN!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bustalyric
I had knocking coming from my driver side a few months back and it ended being the wheel hub bearing
