steve_b
Gents, I like Steve_350z work for software vendor and believe me if a company get caught then bad news. By rights if it is used for profit then the vendor can make you pay for the software full list price, FAST will fine you and you could get sued for the profit your company made using the software. Typically someone like a publisher using software package to do the typesetting would be in big trouble as it is the main way they make their profit. Saying all that you are very unlikely to be caught if you a small company as just not economical for us to chase the mom-pop shops. (no disrespect meant for small companies) However in the future as with copyright on music they as chasing individuals now. The best way to get it cheap is if you are a student or can prove you are in some form of education and get it dirt cheap that way. The last and final way to get a pukka copy is have friends in Microsoft and they can get IIRC @ approx £20.
