mobius
Hi all 2005 350z 49000 miles, Clutch pedal about sits about 20mm higher than brake pedal, no slipping and when pulling away in 5th gear car stalls. About 20mm springy travel before pedal gets heavy to push. When car cold pedal bite point about 4 inches from floor, but once heated up bite point 2 inches from floor, no problems getting into gear. So question is is this normal or slave, fluid problem or clutch as well Thanks

Ekona
I suspect the slave/master cylinder. Fluid should be fine unless you have reason to think otherwise, and if the clutch isn't slipping that's probably okay too.
mobius
Is the pedal height I described ok I know I May be looking at a clutch at some point over the next few, but is this normal height above brake pedal Thanks
Ekona
That's why I suspect the cylinders: FIne from cold, but as the fluid and seals heat up they're allowing fluid to pass which is why the pedal gets longer. Pedal height at standstill sounds okay.
