Ybbew
Having just got my zed, the first thing I'm looking to do is buy it a new set of alloys, the rays it has on now look okay but I would like rotas or possibly something with a bit of a dish. I just wondered what peoples takes were on what size is best to go for 18's or 19's?
RS8055
Depends on what you want really... by increasing from 18" to 19" you are going to have less ride comfort and will have to spend more on tyres when replacing them. Really depends how much those two aspects mean to you!
Jetpilot
18's for go, 19's for show. If you have no real interest in the finer degrees of feel and handling go for 19's as they look better, if your into track days, keep the Rays for that
brillomaster
its an old saying... 18s for go, 19s for show. since you've mentioned looks and dish, i'm guessing show is more important to you, so i'd go for 19s. EDIT beaten by mere seconds! ^^^ Edited May 7, 2015 by brillomaster
Bems
If it's a street car go for 19's. As said if your going for dish 19's will aid this. I have always had 19's on the zed & would say the ride is more than acceptable.
Ybbew
Thanks for the replies, yeah I think it probably would be more for show rather than track days but i will definitely keep the rays, Just in case! Thanks guys
veilside z
20" maximum mate. 19s will look good though.
