fake ben taylor
I follow on point dyno and they're apparently going to release all the data they gathered soon. Looking forward to it! Interesting about the wing and sealing the back of the bonnet. Wonder if a panel could be made with runner seals to seal the back without interfering with the wipers
Pritchard
This is pretty awesome. Thanks for this. Makes it even more interesting when its a car you own StevoD puts all of his parts in the windtunnel too before / after fitment. I wonder how he compensated for the big rear spoiler on his? RyanT
I would say the only consideration they left out was the ground effect, which may well have aided the front spiller in it's effectiveness. Which is why some wind tunnels effectively have a conveyor belt as a floor to simulate this. For anyone interested I can't recommend the book 'Competition Car Aerodynamics: A Practical Handbook' it's absolutely phenomenal and really interesting and accessible to anyone.
