martybhoy
Some great work going on here. How do you find your ride now with the fresh suspension? Also what drop did you get on the tein springs? I ask because I think there are 15mm or 35mm drops available.
Kaveney
18mm at the front 14 at the rear I think . Ride is around 10% more firm / harsh but handling / feel is amazing from the 91K old shock / springs . Nice little combo for road use and some track work . Kaveney
Just a small update . Oil and filter change for some 5W-30 . Also installed my Gold Plug Old vs new
Kaveney
Update time Was booked in to Abbey Motorsport for some work to be done . First was a new Exedy clutch and LUK DMF that was fitted and new gear box oil added . Some pic of the old units that have done 92K miles . Old DMF Old Clutch still in ok shape but some of the rivets were getting close . Then as the gearbox was off I had some DC sports S/S manifolds ( headers if you are from the USA ) installed . Old log type manifold with smallish ports and uneven length tubes . New DC Sport S/S equal length manifold Installed . And last to be re mapped on the dyno . I was told that the manifolds would only give a very small gain in power and torque so the gains are about what I was expecting with the bonus of more power and torque on the whole rev range ( + 11 LB/FT at 2300 RPM ) and not moving the power and torque up all at the top of the rev range . Kaveney
After a few days of beading in the clutch feels very tight and nice and the exhaust noise is a bit more fruity . Alan
-350-Ed-
Loving this build thread, I bet the car drives so much better with all these bits getting refreshed/upgraded.

Kaveney
Another few updates over the weekend . First was to change all x 4 Kumho tyres . Still some good tread on them . After lots of reading and with the car being my day to day car I went for a full set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports . And the tracking done at the same time . I will look to have a another alignment done soon but this will do for a few weeks . Also received my rear brace . Fitting was ok and went in nice and tight . Then last was to remove my Stillen induction and replace this with a 06 350Z air box . Stillen unit Old air box next to 06 air box The inlet velocity stack on the 06 air box is larger and good for a few more BHP and LB/FT Old New And BMC panel filter to go with the 06 air box All put in and tightened up . Sargara
Did you get a decent price on the tyres Alan? I opted for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's in the end, I couldn't stomach the stories of the Michelin's wear rate combined with their price.
