J4M3S
Hello all, I replaced the alternator on my 350z yesterday, and upon re-connecting the battery a 'short' occurred and blew the main fuse. Having sorted what caused the short I soldered a new bit of fuse wire on the main fuse. So i reconnected the battery once more, and everything but the central locking (on the key fob and on the switch inside) will not work at all. I have tried the key resetting method but it doesn't seem to do anything. Has anyone got any ideas? is there a fuse for the system? Thanks for any help, really hoping its not too serious

J4M3S
What caused the short? Had forgotten to take the block of plastic that insulates the cable on the alternator from the alternator body off the old one and put it on this one
