Ali_z33
Hello z fans. I noticed a problem with my zed today, the chair reclines backwards but wont return to normal upright position anymore. The other button still works to move the seat forward and back. As you can imagine, this was a very uncomfortable ride home! 2007 350z model. Any suggestions? or is a replacement motor looking most likely? Thanks, Alistair
veilside z
I would say it is the switch personally. Can you swop the two around to see if it is the switch, so the recline switch is using the sliding seat feed.
Ali_z33
Thanks for the suggestion. Any idea how to swap the switches. Sounds a bit technical.
benjy88
I have this problem on mine... exactly the same in fact, at first it just needed to be pushed forward a few times very quickly and then it worked, but now it doesn't work at all... Luckily I managed to get it into the right position before it conked out. If you find a solution, let me know!
veilside z
Can't you leave the switches in situe and just swop the feeds around.
spursmaddave
Can't you leave the switches in situe and just swop the feeds around. Tunnel comes off easy enough, 2 screws at the back, 2 at the front and a hidden one in the coin holder from memory... I think the centre dash has to come off first though, and obviously the gear surround... handbrake just pull up as far vertical as you can, then unclip the switches at you go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I removed my tunnel last month to swap round the heated seat switches. Exactly as above and yes there is a screw hidden underneath the ashtray/coin holder.
