Event Organising - Hampshire

Before I start emailing around,

 

Wondered if anyone on here worked for the Hampshire Council.

 

Looking to find out how to organise venues for events etc.

 

 

 

I have several locations in mind, these spots have been used over the years for many car shows etc, so it is do able - Just looking to find out the right channels to go about it.

 

 

So if anyone has any contacts that they can put me in touch with, or know how to approach this, that would be awesome :thumbs:

Based on my experience:

 

If the venue you have in mind is privately owned then contact the owner first and see what they say.

 

If it is council owned, then contact the councils PR department and they'll point you in the right direction. When I organised a show in Coventry last year, it was a case of filling out a form and damage waiver and proving I had £5million of Public Liability Insurance in place.
