AndyC
Seen that in the paper today, no doubt he'll get away with it due to his exemplemary ability with a helicopter and therefore his reactions are much quicker than the average and yadder, yadder, yadder
Beavis
He will probably say in court that he forgot he was not in his chopper, the magistrate will agree and let him off.

u2----
I agree, the booked should be totally thrown at him for the speeding, but does that prevent him from doing his job in the chopper? You or I wouldn't be suspended from the job we do.

steve_b
IIRC my contract says that I must have a full license. If I lost it they could sack me, therefore why should he not loose his job just because he is in the Force. My wife is a commity midwife and if she did not have a license then would have to change roles and may lead to drop in pay scales at minimum. Cones are generally there to protect the people working in that zone, if he hit a worker at 110 then it would not just be the worker dead but likely him too. Sorry just thing people in that job should know better. I agree, the booked should be totally thrown at him for the speeding, but does that prevent him from doing his job in the chopper? Unless you were a truck driver and lost your license True but he is not a truck driver and I have to say having a driving licence has no effect on his actual job! As I said shocking driving, but he doesn't drive for a living!
GC350z
Sorry just thing people in that job should know better. Very true. People in a position of authority should be setting an example for others. Equally the judge should use this case as an example to all. It will be interesting to see what will happen. Guy +1 He should know better, if thats how he drives a car, how does he pilot plane? It certainly questions his judgment.
