AdrianL
Yet another bloody light on the dash!! The airbag light started flashing on the dash this morning. I assume this will show up as an error code for me to look up? Over the weekend I fitted my CG lock, and also did a spark plug change. Could these have affected it? It also rained a LOT last night, I'm wondering if water worked its way in somewhere? Thanks, Adrian
ts743
Mine does this every so often, check all the connectors under your seats, give them a wiggle - common problem
AdrianL
Hiya mate, gave that a go and it made no difference. Do I need to reset the light as well?
Durk
I think its a white connector block under the passenger seat that does mine, I kind of push it together a bit then do the reset of the airbag light and it goes away until it gets knocked again! Turn the ignition on, wait for the airbag light to go out and turn ignition off, wait 3 seconds and repeat 5 times (something like that) Edited March 31, 2015 by Durk
ts743
I forgot the ignition procedure, sorry. It's as stated above, but I've found no need to wait 3 seconds. Ignition on until you see the airbag light, then ignition off. Repeat 5 times.

AdrianL
Thanks guys that sorted it 😃 I did notice under the passenger seat there was a white connection block in the middle with nothing plugged in? Any ideas what that is for? It's plugged in on the drivers side. Ta

I think its for the airbags... which is why if i give mine a fiddle and do the airbag light reset that sorts it somebody with more knowledge will let you know for sure though Edited April 2, 2015 by Durk
karlh
Airbag connectors are yellow, to distinguish them from everything else. The white connector could be for the seatbelt latch. How many pins does it have?
AdrianL
It's this one (middle top connector): Full size: https://i.imgur.com/5sIJ0PZ.jpg Like I say though, that was just the passenger side. My light is off now when I gave all the wires a wiggle and reset it.. Edited April 2, 2015 by AdrianL
