Oceax
Hi 350z-uk, I've had my Z about 9 months now, I've known since that time that one of the rears was overly worn. Just got it back from its MOT and the tread is at 2.7 mm with the other three being between 5 and 6 mm, time for a replacement! Currently it has Bridgestone RE040's on the front and RE050A's on the rear and I've got the standard Rays alloys so looking at the same sizes of 225/45 18" / 245/45 18". I've read through the sticky's and about popular opinion on here (read:MPSS!) so I'd like to know peoples thoughts on my options: 1. RE050A's on the rear 2. MPSS on the rear 3. MPSS on all four corners Thanks!
docwra
MPSS all round, the RE040 is rubbish and the Michelin is a bit better than the RE050
RafsZed
I recently changed to MPSS from those awful Bridgestones and the car feels a lot better on the road plus the tyres look awsome.
KyleR
I'd be changing the rears for MPSS, but I wouldn't be binning the front until they're done.
Ekona
Given how incredibly crap the 040s are, I'd be chucking that pair on eBay and moving to MPSS all round.
Dave-350
I have MPSS all round, best tires I've used.
docwra
BTW, Im currently running RE050A on front and MPSS on the back - the RE050 are too good to throw away but the RE040 arent ......

I see you police that word a lot, so I did it on purpose to be fair Plus this Board uses American grammar and doesn't like me spelling tyres. Dynamic Turtle
Given that tyres spend their entire time saving your life, you might want to sell the lot and get some MPSS on there sharpish. Gripper, better in't wet and quieter than the RE050s albeit with slightly reduced lifespan.

Roscoe
MPS all round! Very impressed with mine.
GMballistic
Given how incredibly crap the 040s are, I'd be chucking that pair on eBay and moving to MPSS all round. ^^ This. Plenty of people will buy part worns from eBay so they should sell no problem. I wouldn't mix tyres so MPSS all round is a winner, winner, chicken dinner. Oceax
Well thanks for all the messages guys, I'm not sure I really needed much convincing to go for the 4x MPSS Just made an order on tyreleader.co.uk for only £505 unfitted, not too bad I don't think.
