kidofthe80s
Hello There I've got an original set of 4 x 18" touring alloy rims which I like to keep....wondering how folks are storing theirs alloy rims (so as not to get them scratched or damaged) ? Was looking at the below items as a method of storing in the garage / shed....any thoughts ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-ALLOY-4-WHEEL-TYRE-STORAGE-TREE-STAND-WINTER-SUMMER-HOOK-RACK-NEW-/271750699079?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f459a9847 or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-X-ALLOY-WHEEL-TYRE-STORAGE-CARRY-BAGS-FITS-2453518-245-35-R18-WINTER-SUMMER-/271108715181?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f1f56b2ad Thanks... RafsZed
On top of eachother in the garage, they seem ok.
Ekona
Chuck some dead tyres on them, then stick them in a corner of your garage stacked up. Or drop a dust sheet between them all.
ph 7
Tracy loves the ornamental tyre/alloy pile in the corner of the garden as much as she loves the highly decorative front bumpers and sideskirts art installation. Anything to separate them like cardboard will do the job

Anything to separate them like cardboard will do the job ^^ This. Just cut large square pieces of cardboard up and tape two to a wheel (top & bottom), ...then just pile them up on top of each other. Job done.
ChrisS
I use one of these. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item51cdca0581 Not megga solid and robust, but OK for wheeling about the garage.

Richie94gts
I used thick pieces of cardboard which were wider than the wheels and just stacked them. Seems to have been ok for me.
