greg tl
Where is the link to this car... I want to see it... Fairlady wheels? You mean 17s? £9k?? If i was going to ask £9k for a zed on an 04 it would at least need to be mint with 18s on it. There is no way i would ever give £8k for an 04 done 70K either. Steer well clear of this one! better not be a tradelink ad!! Fingers crossed!!
cesc
A trader giving £8k for an 04 Zed with 70k miles? Who is this guy?! I'm trying to offload mine, maybe he'll give me £6k for my ticky engined 04 with 109k?
rabbitstew
TBH often better the devil you know, 70k isn't much on a Zed in terms of it needing to be changed! Don't know what that cars condition is, you know yours and as above unless yours needs work it that's going to cost prob a bad idea. Ed Exactly this. WhackyWill
As all above said that's crazy £8k for an 04 with 70k on the clock as a trade in from a dealer ..!! Sold my 06 for well under your trade in price ?. Something wrong. Post up the link.
dannybz
I dunno guy's i just get a bit worried when mileage racks up, i mean i have seen people on this forum talking about rings going and rebuilds etc that cost 5k? am i being a bit paranoid then? Ekona
Very. New engine is about 1/5 of that cost, and there's no inherent issues with either the DE or HR engines. They'll go on forever, if you look after them with decent oil and sensible changes intervals.
Mattle40
That's down to misuse/neglect not age. If u think the clutch is going, get a new clutch, full service and alignment for the £1k you save yourself. +1 for wanting to see the ad lol. I saw an 06 gt in lovely condition today for a fiver short of £9k and I thought that was overpriced!!
BulletMagnet
What is your driving style like? Was the previous owner a seemingly gentle or aggressive driver? TBH, the garage giving you £8K for an 04 Zed.....sounds like it's Terry Tibbs Edited March 27, 2015 by BulletMagnet
Dashurik
Keep your own car! Whats the point to change for the same car? And that deal stinks as others said! i
veilside z
Please post the link we are all requesting, so we can see purely out of interest. I don't want to sound rude, but there is no way your car is worth what he is offering. Walk away.
