spriteJAC
Sometimes when people overtake me I smile and know that if I really wanted to I could be half a mile in front of them before they even realise what's happening
Daryl
Sounds like the driver was abit of a twonk if he is pulling dangerous moves
coldel
I have seen people doing the same thing in Corsa 1.2s - its usually the driver rather than the car at fault!
sipar69
The Zed is being a little neglected at the moment, need to go for a long drive, burn some serious fuel! The VX is surprisingly good on fuel on a long run. Defo. I'm sure he wasn't representative of all VX220 drivers. Enjoy yours.
Daryl
Took my friend out in it, (this is happening quite alot, I should start charging for fuel), and he loved it. We are both Vauxhall boys at heart, and he loves the SC whine, and the instant thrust. Need to take the Zed out, and give that a good thrashing, its been a while. coldel
Yes fuel is good thanks to the light weight - although mine was just an NA 150bhp it still did about 35mpg. I went for a drive around Kent with Darren B when I had it and there was some 'economy envy' when I said I had used about £15 worth of petrol
un1eash
This is why i find it hard to give up the Elise, 40mpg is possible and only £180 road tax. Its very cheap to maintain also seeing as its a K series rover and sits on 17"/16" wheels.
coldel
I do keep looking at VXs again - but it would have to be a third car for me, it really was a tad too uncomfortable in the winter!
