twobears
We have a DFS and SCS. If you order a sofa from SCS you get a free lounge carpet. Thanks Veilside I've managed to negotiate carpets throughout the new house with the builder but free carpet does sound like a good incentive if the sofas are nice
steve916
We had a leather suite from DFS which lasted 10 years. One of the kids covered the 3 seater in lipstick years ago. I rang DFS. They sent a specialist out and within a few days, it looked brand new again We now have a suite from SCS. It's a cloth one, and very comfortable. The free carpet is limited to 16 square metres, but the offer had just finished when we bought ours a few weeks back.
coldel
We got two sofas (non leather ones) 5 years ago and both are still going strong despite a baby boy arriving in the meantime and jumping all over them, no problems at all.
AliveBoy
Had a DFS sofa for three years now, my only thing is that the cushions are that microfibre stuff. If you don't plump them often enough they get a bit lumpy. Giving them a fairly regular beating does solve that issue though

Will370z
Very happy with my experience with DFS. Constantly kept me up to date while the furniture was being made, priced matched up to the point of delivery. 2 minor issues were noted on delivery but these were rectified by them within 2 days by sending a specialist out. Very impressed with their customer service and the product
Toon Chris
You can buy some very posh stuff on Gumtree at a cheap price - second hand of course - then have it professionally cleaned. Same price as a new, 'cheaper' sofa. Old chesterfields are great buys but there quite a lot of other stuff out there.
JetSet
Yes, our current sofa came from DFS and I've been very pleased with it. It's a few years old now but interestingly the manager at that time owned a 350Z with a Nismo kit on it , had a long chat with him, must have been 2008 or 2009. It also helped that my daughter worked there part time while she was in University. Pete
