Bracey22
Since buying my Z late August it has been back to the garage I got it from 8 times with the same fault code. They have tried doing nothing (cos that sounds like a good fix!?) messing with the timing and other ecu features, cross threading a pattern sensor (bank 1 sensor 1), and having Nissan fit a genuine sensor (as well as repairing my manifold). The check engine light is back on again, and I was hoping someone out there could suggest a most probable root cause? I gather that it could be fuel pressure or injectors or an air intake leak (least likely I think)? I have an HR engine. Any advice gratefully received! Tricky-Ricky
Whats the fault code? could be AFM, slightly blocked injector, I think the low fuel pressure is unlikely unless there is a separate pump and /or FPR for each bank? an air leak in the intake after AFM, or at the exhaust manifold could be the cause. Bracey22
The code is P2a00. After Nissan repairing my manifold due to cross threading of the previous sensor, I would hope it isn't that.
