Vlad
And jut to confirm - I never asked or thought of doing him a favour in return for a free spray job... HE OFFERED IT! And I made this thread not to configure out who owes what to who, but just to warn people!
Vlad
^^ I think the price Vlad puts on his time is irrelevant, a deal was struck whereby Vlad helps him out for a few days and in return gets his front end sprayed. Seems simples and would be simples to a competent bodyshop, something that this cowboy clearly isn't. No money has changed hands so Vlad hasn't a leg to stand on, so I think bad mouthing them is the least he should do. Next step take it to the local paper That! Although I don't think I'll go as far as local paper... Social media is quite good at it these days
mouthwash
£150 after tax? or before? What about pension contribution? I feel sorry for you and I have the same distrust of bodyshops I recently had mine (front bumper that is) repaired for some cracks that appeared down the side, drove it 8 miles home and hey presto, the cracks reappeared. docwra
I would've got £150 per day... If youre getting £150 a day for less than 8 hours a day doing unskilled labour in a bodyshop let me know when you need more staff

Unless of course your mate used gold tape to line out the grill and lip?
KyleR
I use that term "line out" very loosely by the way
Vlad
Forgot to mention about bonnet... I did say that bonnet and arches have barely any lacquer on them, but while arches at least look half decent, parts of bonnet dried out like rush because if just few drops of lacquer. Also he didn't wait wait for it to cool down and masked it away while lacquer was still soft - there are few lines from masking tape now. Added this to the 1st post. sipar69
Seem to recall we're not allowed to post links to US Z forums but if you Google "350Z ruined" there's an epic body shop horror story from some years ago.
