jimmy.farrow7
Just a quick heads up to anyone who was going to use them, Dont!!!. I ordered a courier last thursday AM to collect a package Friday to be sent, come friday 4pm no collection tried phoning and email and got nothing same again. I got through to them on Monday morning and they said it had been rearranged for monday afternoon, come 6pm nothing. I rang on tuesday morning and got a very rude response from some scottish bloke saying it was my fault there had been no collection as my road was inaccessible,I just responded saying if that was the case i left a mobile number im sure they could contact me if any problems occurred. My road is a massive road with bin lorries, skip trucks and massive delivery vans coming down I am sure this would have been no problem for a transit, pretty sure they were lies also asked for a refund and still havent got on. GMballistic
Yep we know they are sh*t. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89998-paisley-freight-avoid-avoid-avoid/ I've had problems with them myself and a quick google search will show you we're not alone. For example: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/alloy-courier-came-across-this-about-paisley-freight-services.647138/ Good luck getting your refund. jimmy.farrow7
It was still paisley freight on the end of the phone though. they may not be delivering it but they still have the customer service side which was also useless
Kev
Used them for tyres and they were good as well as cheap.
GMballistic
Used them for tyres and they were good as well as cheap. My experience of Paisley Freight was terrible as they (the courier) never turned up on the day arranged so I lost a day's holiday. Re-arranged collection with my old man waiting in for them this time & again they didn't show. Third time was the charm however they (TNT courier) didn't turn up till 6pm so again I wasted another days holiday waiting in for them. If you search the net they have more bad reviews than good & I'm inclined to agree with the majority that this is one company to be avoided as there are much better alternatives imo. Ian from Kent ~ Sent a Bonnet via Paisley Freight and it got damage even after I spent an absolute age packing it.I run a double glazing company and used the reinforced cardboard corners to protect the corners and well as bubbler and can yet it still got dropped on its ends hard enough to damage it so how hard was it dropped as have never damaged a composite door wrapped the same way On a serious note do NOT use these Muppets for body panels as they Cleary employ idiots Katie from South Yorkshire ~ I'm not sure how this company is still going. They lose items, their customer service is atrocious!!!!!! You call the office and no one answers. When you finally get through, they are so so useless. The main lady has no clue what is going on! If you want horrific customer service and a terrible service then do use paisley - for a good delivery service AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Source: http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/paisley-freight-paisley More bad reviews: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/Alloy-Wheel-Courier-DONT-use-Paisley-Freight-Services-/10000000010942750/g.html http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=85757 ^^ That's just a few from the first page of google when you search for "Paisley Freight" ~ bearing in mind the first few things on the page are ads/sites for the company itself so you can see how bad they are. Don't get that from decent couriers like UPS or TNT direct.
Ekona
Let me guess, they're the cheapest? DPD FTW. You can track the couriers online, makes life so simple.
Jetpilot
As I found out with parcel2go if you read the small print none of their services are guaranteed (probably the same with Paisley), I.e if you book a 24hr, its not guaranteed, collection date is not guaranteed etc, so effectively you pay for a service that means absoultely nothing except the parcel may or may not be collected on the arranged date and when it does it will eventually get to its destination. Neilp
I've used Paisley freight countless times now with no issues. They just Subby the work out and don't actually do the work themselves
