hensh65
Took my A5 3.0tdi upto a very windy Crail raceway for the first time since I got it. It was tough as I didn't have a handbrake so hand to brake on the line and heel the gas to get the revs up otherwise it would roll forward. You see it rolling slightly in the video. Got beat but was pretty chuffed my Diesel run the RS4 close!

You wouldn't have got in my car Dan as I am still on the budgets that came with those alloys !

That's probably about right, seeing as he'd be on a manual 'box. Is yours manual too?

hensh65
I'm sure that was a DE zed you were racing I raced my old Zed as IRN BRU was up, felt terrible beating it. He was good enough to give me a shot of my old car, even though you aren't going as fast it was the most fun I had all day. Drifting the car up to the line would put a smile on anyones face! wmr1980
I doubt you'd have beaten or been so close to an Astra VXR though..... It's amazing how quick off the mark diesels are - especially large capacity diesels. Also I've heard that the RS4s aren't all equal either.

There was a couple of VXR there yesterday The most impressive thing there by a mile was my mates Golf R, he has a tunning box and he was honestly not far behind a couple of the GT-Rs that were there! He run a 12.3 in pretty rubbish conditions!!!
Dynamic Turtle
Pretty much any 4WD turbo is going to set a searing pace, it's not like scoobies and evos weren't doing the same 20 years ago, albeit burning a lot more petrol in the process...
