NigelB
Hi folks had a rear drivers side tyre failure today, when I got the wheel off it looks like the inner wall was very worn, comments please
DoogyRev
Tracking and Alignment needs attention and/or it was running under the correct pressure
JetSet
or it was running under the correct pressure That was my first thought, could have been a slow puncture or under inflated for quite a while. The other possibility is that its been repaired at some time and the tyre fitter hasn't noticed the inner damage. Pete
NigelB
tyre pressure was ok as I regularly check the pressures
brillomaster
How old was the tyre? Regularly inspected for cuts and bulges? Good tyres don't just fail for no reason!
JetSet
tyre pressure was ok as I regularly check the pressures Then you could have picked up a puncture during your journey, once the pressure drops below 20 psi then overheating is rapid. Was there a burning rubber smell? Pete
