c0vert Posted February 26, 2015 Share Posted February 26, 2015 Hello, I've just joined the club and bought a Z this week. Working in Liverpool so wondered if there is a local club or group? Enjoyed being part of the VW club here when I had my Corrado VR6, and this is my first Japanese car, so I have a lot to learn from members. So far I have a silver 2004 GT model with 76k miles in pretty good shape, very nice inside, if a little rusty underneath. First jobs I have on my list to make it perfect are some new brake pads (considering doing that myself), fix the broken bracket on the rusty old CATs that's making a rattling noise, and replace the rear lower brace that looks a little too rusted for my liking. Im not really into tuning or modifying, although I do consider subtle tasteful mods (it already has a set of 19" forged wheels on it from the last owner, which is more than subtle I know, but they suit it very nicely). It drives extremely well and already has enough power for me, so I'm not going to mess with that, especially without knowledge and experience. Learnt my lesson with the corrado, once you start changing things, you create new problems for yourself and it always ends up costing you more than you thought! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I fill up at costco with premium (for 1.07/Ltr!) which is right around the corner from there, and last week when I went to fill up I did pick up my friend from old hall street. Was probably Tuesday.
