Martin_t5r
Hi just wondering if anyone could tell me if a pair of front oem 17 inch, 7 spoke 350z alloys would fit on the rear of my car (without spacers)? I saw that by the looks of them, the fronts are 7.5j et 30 and the rears are 8j et 33 I think. Any responses greatly appreciated Regards Martin Edited February 19, 2015 by Martin_t5r
Payco
Don't get 17's they just don't work. Go the other way and get 18's with spacers or 19s without..
Martin_t5r
I found a cheap pair for drift rims, but they are 7.5j, so not sure if they are cheap because they won't fit on rear/clear brembos etc I currently have 18x10.5 j all round, just wanted some cheapy rubbish it put on the back, I know they will look abit pants Edited February 19, 2015 by Martin_t5r

AliveBoy
ask them, JDM garage know their stuff. Also, I've used 16's with brembo's for drifting, so you should be fine. Where are you based? I could sell you 4 18's for cheap
Martin_t5r
I'm based in Lowestoft suffolk, what are they like mate? When you say 16"s are you referring to stock s14 wheels, I have a set of them kicking around somewhere...
AliveBoy
oh ok, I'm in woking, surrey. Could let you have 4 18" rx-8 wheels for like £100 if you wanted to collect? they don't have tyres though. I've had standard S14 wheels on but they needed 40mm spacers to clear the calipers. I borrowed some 16" RX7 wheels from a friend which were enkeis I think and they fitted without spacers.
Martin_t5r
They sound ideal, will they fit without spacers and not foul the arches? Just abit of a bugger that your so far away
AliveBoy
They fit with no issues, even with the standard wheel nuts They're really weak offset though I also have 2 40mm spacers going spare, but I imagine they'd be expensive to post. mouthwash
They are OEM wheels aren't they (the link you gave me), so they should fit. Pretty sure I've seen some UK cars with them on.

Only JDM imports have them, so the issue is the brembo's
Grundy
How about these gems for drifting http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86180-nismo-v2-replica-ultralite-wheels/page__hl__mouthwash#entry1291792

Martin_t5r
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, would those ultralites both fit on rear, obviously the 9.5 j does but would the 8.5j too ? mouthwash
Can't see why not, if you were actually serious about taking them I'd fit the 8.5" to the rear of my car to find out. Edit: Just occurred to me, the rear Brembos are tiny so almost any wheel will easily clear the brakes and fit. So I'm 100% anything you've been offered so far will fit on the rear.
