Tere Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 If you run 6-7 psi, you can do it pretty safely on a stock engine. I'd redo the plenum and make sure I have a decent engine/fuel management system though. I like 'em both. My 300ZX is a twin turbo, and it's a hoot when the turbos spool up and kick in. The supercharger is instant/constant power so you don't get the turbo kick. I'd guess for drifting, the supercharger will give better results since there's no lag and you have a more constant power delivery. It would make the car more predictable for drifting.
