jonty88
Hi guys, As above do any of you guys know a good hand car wash in the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire area? Im a bit lazy when it comes to car cleaning (sorry I know thats a sin) but ive always been a bit skeptical of getting cars cleaned by other people, paranoid that the cloths / sponges they use just get dropped all day and collect grit (maybe this is just me being paranoid ha). So if any of you have suggestions please advise me, Thanks
KyleR
The best car wash is yourself. The only other one which will be decent is one advertised as a "safe" carwash. This will mean they don't use sponges or industrial strength chemicals to attack your paint.

KyleR
Exactly! I'm sure there are a few good carwashes out there that use microfibre or lambswool mitts instead of horrible sponges, but they re few and far between and probably charge the earth! Much better buying your own decent stuff and looking after your own car, unless you don't mind swirl marks and scratches in your paint
WhackyWill
WHAT...!!! You don't wash and pamper your Zed yourself, part of the owning experience of a Zed is looking after it yourself and feeling the satisfaction of CLEANING IT YOURSELF..!!! :scare:

The G Man
Tesco in Beeston, just outside Chetwynd Barracks. Used it a few times, they get as many swirls on it as any amateur 'detailer' on here
Azure350z
The one on Carlton Road near Carlton Hill is alright, they snow foam the car first and if you give them a couple of buckets, shampoo and a mitt, they'll wash you car using your own stuff.
