chirag1988
The guy went about the right way - dashcams FTW
Adrian@TORQEN
I had worse from mechanics, that's nothing.
WhackyWill
If the top speed of an Ford Focus ST is only 118 MPH, then I'll never buy one. Yep unfortunately mechanics ragging nice cars they think its part of their perks..!!
glrnet
Unfortunately that kind of behaviour just confirms what morons some of these people are. I think we all realise that this will happen from time to time but to do it with a camera in the car!!
Toon Chris
Nice comment... "It seemed to be a plausible story until Ford and 118mph were mentioned in the same sentance" [sic]
GMballistic
Hate seeing this sort of thing as I know it happens and honestly dread leaving my car at some garages. Stick to the ones I know & trust nowadays or just wait with the car. Seen a few of these videos in the past, ...one particularly bad one I remember was some guy's VXR8 (I think) that was driven at over 140mph odd. Stutopia
Who leaves bags in the car when they drop it off at a garage? If they just had the brains to top up the used fuel, he wouldn't have noticed.
ilogikal1
If they just had the brains to top up the used fuel, he wouldn't have noticed. To be fair, if they'd had brains they wouldn't be doing stupid speeds on public roads, let alone in someone else's car, much less whilst they were "at work". Just saying.
Stutopia
Some valid points there. Except the one about someone else's car. Seems the perfect choice for doing really stupid things!
ilogikal1
A valid point. Perhaps "a customer's car" would be better phrasing.

GMballistic
Who leaves bags in the car when they drop it off at a garage? If they just had the brains to top up the used fuel, he wouldn't have noticed. Maybe true in his case but after a similar incident with my mates Impreza at a garage I always check my mileage & take a picture on my phone. Wendy
Even with trusted garages, I clock my mileage before my car goes in. Guess taking a photo is better still and at least proof rather than the spoken word.. Shame we have to think like this. There is so much disrespect in the world today, seems like you have to spend so much of your life covering your back side for the just incase scenerio's !!

rothers2901
I may have mentioned this before but i recently went to a RTC where a mechanic took out a Impreza following an service, lost it on a S bend and ripped out the whole rear suspension. rabbitstew
This is why noone ever touches my car except me and the local MOT bloke who I know wont do this. (especially as i sit there watching him during the MOT).
Zeezeebaba
I had 500 miles appear on my old racing puma after a visit to the body shop for a respray lol. I didn't say anything though as I got a very good deal and a superb paint job.
