MCook
I am going to mission motorsport today for a quote on a 4 wheel balance and fitment of my 2 new compression arms.. What price should I be expecting, I don't want a repeat of my qwik fit experience either.. It would be mainly just a labour charge for the fitment of the arms. Grundy
About £10k. Mission are expensive. Quoted about £300 just to spray my front lip.

-Bradders-
Took me 3 hours to do my arms without a press. cant imagine it takes longer with a press tbh. and my local tyre shop charges £5 per wheel for balancing. Ekona
GET A QUOTE FIRST Why would someone not do that? FFS you're just asking for trouble!

Did I not say 'I am going to mission motorsport today for a QUOTE' ! Just wanted an idea on a reasonable price for what I want done so I know they are not taking advantage of me...
Ekona
You did, yes. Apologies, I just expected you to rush blindly into something again
Ekona
Why are you going there then? Surely picking up a phone is quicker? Anyways, decent geo is about £100, then a couple of hours labour for the arms so I reckon that £200 wouldn't be miles off.

Grundy
Mission seem like a fancy jap place, but honestly for that work, you will probably find it cheaper at any indi garage. Just see what quote they give you. Although could you not just ask for the quote over the phone? As I can see what will happen is, you take your car there and just agree on the quote and get it done
-Bradders-
OP Are you going to update your signature every birthday? Maybe he likes to show off that he's just 19 and can afford a 350 at such a young age lol.

They recommended Mission, I promise, it will just be a quote.

MCook
Are you only having the wheels balanced? Or are you going for a full alignment? Just having the wheels balanced, not sure they can do an alignment, but will be having one done soon after
Ekona
Surely the wheels were balanced when the tyres were fitted? Get an alignment while you're there, zero point putting new tyres on and then having them ruined because the car is dragging them one way. Toon Chris
That price looks ok. I've plenty of wheel bearing experience and some of them came off easily whilst others needed a damn good beating for an hour. Er, that sounded a lot dodgier than was intended. WhackyWill
4 wheel alignment on the Zed cost me £150, 4 wheel alignment on my 330ci cost £80.
