Ford Focus RS AWD

Yes, but why not 4wd when it was the current car, a true rally rep, like Evo, Impreza, Celica etc as they did with the Escort? Just seems a strange decision to do it now :)

because when the RS came out they had already turned to the fiesta

Does nothing for me, big fat backside just like all the other hot hatches, they all look the same these days. That's why I lost interest in BTCC, back in the nineties you could clearly see the different models but now every car looks the same, all from the same mould.

thats a stupid statement

cars of the 90s

accord

mondeo

3 series

laguna

vectra etc

all have the same profile

Personally cant see how an audi a4 and a infinity q50 look the same a a honda civic estate or a bmw 1 series hatch

It's not a stupid statement, it's my own personal opinion.

Can see where Justthejedi is coming from. Cars are looking too alike lately, especially the hatchbacks. I think they used to look less alike back in the 90's. Seems like manufacturers have been copying each other a lot and they're not trying to stand out as much.

Manufacturers are bound by the safety rules imposed by various bodies around the world, including the EU. Given that they have to have certain things like pedestrian crash zones etc, it's not surprising that a lot of stuff looks broadly the same.

Pretty much the same as F1 give or take, they all look identical until you start looking at them very closely.
