Ian
After a chat with my fabricator we have decided to offer these kits to the forum Its based on the 2JZ swap kit but these are for RHD cars unlike the 2JZ Swap kits. The kit will consist of the following parts: Modified 350Z subframe to fit 2JZ motor (Powder coated to a colour of your choice) Engine Mounts Engine Mount brackets Looks like this before powder coating After powder coating & with brackets and mounts On top of this kit you will also require Wiring Harness 2JZ 350Z gearbox adaptor plate These are not included but I can provide you with the contacts to sort these out I am offering these kits at £900 (Subframe is required in exchange) delivered to your door in the UK. Turnaround on the kit is around a week. Edited February 3, 2015 by Ian
Neilp
Is that all you actually need for a straight swap? Seems very simple and could be cost effective if you can get an engine at a decent price!
Ian
Yup, thats all you need to fit the engine in obviously there's added extras that you need like FMIC, radiator, wiring harness etc. Its a pretty straight forward swap - mine is taking ages purely due to lack of funds and the machining of my block is taking ages 2JZ engines are usually around £2K plus I'd recommend that you change to a single turbo - nobody seems sure if the twins actually fit in the 350 engine bay. The only people that I know of who offer this kit are 2JZ Swap/Tech 2 Motorsports which is the kit that I bought and you get a LHD subframe.
Neilp
This is actually my dream combo of engine/car! Definitely the best sounding straight 6 out there!

R35LEE
Awesome price for the conversion kit. I hope a few guys start doing this mod! I know the drift guys loved the 2jz so there may be a few guys in the BDC wanting these. Ian
Thanks Lee I only wish I had known it was this simple before I bought the kit from the states which cost me a lot more than these kits

SherlockH
These still for sale Ian ? What did you do regarding moving your gearbox back ? Did you just use existing gearbox mount or fab up a new one ? I thought needed for the 2JZ to work you needed: -2JZ VVTI Engine for DBW -Gearbox Adaptor Plate -Custom Flywheel & Clutch -Custom Engine Mounts -Modified Subframe -Custom Driveshaft -Syvecs S6GP ECU -Modify Gearbox Mounts -Modify Gearbox Shifter Position Anything else I miss ? evilscorp
custom fuel lines/return system, probably slimline radiator fans and new custom hoses as the engine is longer and may be close to the oem radiator, custom exhaust, custom intercooler pipework, power steering pump will need new hoses to connect to the nissan rack.... the list probably goes on. Nope, no longer available. I had a new gearbox mount fabricated to move the box back far enough. I've got a list somewhere of everything that was needed, I'll try and dig it out I was into this for near enough £25K when I pulled the plug and we still hadn't got the engine to fire
SherlockH
Would be greatful if you could pull that list out Ian, is that 25k in just parts or labour as well ? Read your build thread on it, its hard to find information that's accurate and shows mounting positions etc found the full wiring diagram for the 2JZ harness so would be able to do that myself. I noticed Slide Motorsport put a 1JZ in a 350 but couldn't find any information or proper build thread on it. I'm just doing research on it at the moment, so I can get a rough idea on price, and what I can and can't do myself. So any extra info would be great
Ian
Couldn't find my list but off the top of my head the below is a minimum Engine Engine harness ECU ECU harness Dashboard harness or digital dash fuel system (Pump, rails, lines) single turbo (twins dont fit) if external waste gate, may need WG moving/altering FMIC custom FMIC piping custom downpipe to exhaust custom radiator overflow tank custom power steering hoses custom subframe custom engine mounts custom gearbox mounts custom shorter propshaft gearbox adaptor plate custom radiator hoses slim line fans bigger radiator oil and water lines for turbo shifter yoke AC removal then theres all the little things like hoses and fittings that all add up
