Mikev350z
Good Evening All, Wondered if anyone had any spare space in a workshop or garage somewhere in the South East? Have a bit of work to do on my 350Z but having a gravel driveway with a trolley jack and these cold temperatures making it a bit of a pain. Could man up and get on with it I guess. Just wondered if anyone had space in exchange for good coffee and biscuits or beer tokens? Edited February 2, 2015 by Mikev350z
jimboy2
There was a thread recently with DIY garages. Can't find it anywhere tho. You turn up someone puts your car on a lift and you can use their tools and stuff too.
Darren-B
I would normally accommodate but all my garage space is taken up with my current project, I feel your pain as I spent all day saturday on the ground under cars in the rain & snow

Mikev350z
Anyone have a space out of the rain and cold for me to change a fuel damper and alt/ ac belts? Anywhere in the South East? Pleeeaaaassse
Randy_Baton
Try gumtree, plenty of garages for rent. You may get lucky with a large one. Most are looking for monthly rents but I'm sure you can get a deal for a day or 2.
RobPhoboS
I was out all weekend last week (until late in the night ), ok not a gravel drive but the cold didn't matter with thermals (£10 amazon), decent work gloves and overtrousers etc & I hate the cold ! See my thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94177-self-service-garages/

Keyser
Bit full up at the moment and probably to far to travel anyway - but if you fancy the drive we may be able to offer a bit of space for a day
Freebird
I feel your pain, been rolling around on the floor in my drive for the last few weeks doing bits and bobs when I can. The weather is not exactly pleasing at the moment...

Mikev350z
Ahhh Zed Shed to the rescue. I may take you up on the offer Keyser. Thank you very much. I can supply excellent coffee or beer tokens whichever you prefer. I need to fit a fuel damper, alt and and ac belts and front discs and pads too. A full day's work for me in the cold so keep putting it off. Anyone tried mtec brakes and pads? Looking at getting a set soon.

Keyser
As long as that reads Alt Belt and AC Belt not alternator and AC belt then you can do it in a day easy - done one alternator change on car - it's a real PITA can be done but not quickly Not used Mtec myself but couple of people have - not heard anything bad - which is good Drop me a PM if/when your thinking of dropping in we will see what's happening hopefully be able to accommodate
